Short answer
No. VPS and dedicated servers (VDS) are not covered by the money-back guarantee and are not refundable once set up, because the server resources are reserved for you as soon as you order. The 30-day money-back guarantee covers yearly web hosting, reseller and master reseller hosting.
What the guarantee covers
| Service | 30-day money-back |
|---|---|
| Web, WordPress, cloud and corporate hosting (yearly) | Yes |
| Reseller and master reseller hosting (yearly) | Yes |

| Dedicated servers (VDS) | No |
| Domains | No (paid to the registry) |
See the money-back guarantee for the details.
Why servers aren’t refundable
A VPS or VDS reserves CPU cores, memory and IP addresses for you the moment it is created, and licences such as Windows or cPanel are paid for up front. Those costs can’t be taken back if the server is cancelled.
Before you order
- Start monthly. Order a VPS monthly first, test it, then switch to yearly (the setup fee is waived on yearly plans).
- Ask us first. Tell our team what you want to run and we’ll suggest the right size, so you don’t overbuy.
- Not sure you need a server? Many sites run well on web hosting, which is covered by the guarantee.
Upgrading instead of cancelling
If a server turns out too small, upgrade it to a bigger plan rather than starting over. If it’s more than you need, talk to our team about the options at your next renewal.
